Here at Grasi, we do not just believe in providing a safe family environment for the children while they are growing up. We also believe in helping them to create a happy, successful independent future for themselves.

That is why we are hoping to expand various projects here in the village, through the guesthouse and eventually the open farm.

The children can help to prepare meals for guests, learn hospitality skills, tend to the animals and help to maintain the farm.
 

We have already placed a few of our young people in profesional training courses abroad. In the future, we hope to expand our links with different schools in Latvia and other countries to help the children achieve success in their chosen careers, be it cooking, zoology, agriculture...

In this way the children will come to realise that, though the past is part of who they are, it need not determine their future.
